Greetings Ladies,

The fall 2017 schedule was a success with a number of ladies and students participating in the Dhahran Cricket Association (DCA) sponsored cricket practices and events.

Looking forward to the Winter/Spring 2018 year schedule, DCA is planning three practices and two games/tournaments for the ladies cricket.

The top batsman and bowler from the men’s cricket league have agreed to show us the techniques of batting and bowling during the practice sessions. Rehan Khan will be going over batting during the Feb 5 practice and Saad Sikandar will go over bowling during Feb 19 practice.

Tournaments and games format (scheduled Feb 24 and April 20) will depend on the number of ladies/girls participating. So looking forward to a good turnout.

The season will end with an annual Awards Banquet scheduled for May 5 at the Ad-Diwan. This is a formal ticketed event and more news will be coming forth from DCA.

To participate in the ladies cricket practice and games, please make sure that you have membership with the DCA. The membership is SAR 100. This membership entitles you to other DCA events at discounted membership rates (Annual Awards Banquet, DCA Out of Kingdom trip, posted event pictures, etc), please visit the website www.dca4u.com

This is a fun league and all the practice and games are played inside the batting cages at the Dhahran Cricket field. Beginner levels all the way up to advanced level players are welcome to participate. The idea is to have fun, learn a new skill and enjoy the beautiful Dhahran winter weather!
