Dear DCA Members
DCA board wants to thank +200 DCA members and families that participated in DCA year-end dinner, social evening with test cricketers Younus Khan, Saeed Ajmal and other performers on Friday December 7, 2018 in Ad-Diwan. The two test cricketers presented trophies to DCA board members appreciating their efforts to make event successful. DCA board presented plaques to the test cricketers. The live band and others performers were highly appreciated by the audience.
The event continued on Saturday December 8, 2018 in DCA ground with + 170 members participated that included players, families and parents of young children of DYCA. Younus Khan and Saeed Ajmal conducted three coaching sessions from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm starting with DYCA followed by two coaching sessions with senior hardball teams grouped from five DCA teams.
Re-started the evening session with match between two DCA senior hardball teams. Younus Khan batted superbly and hit around 15 sixes that was treat to watch from legend of T/20 world cup winning captain and only Pakistan test cricketer who has scored 10,000 runs in test cricket. On the other hand Saeed Ajmal bowled around six overs of high quality of spin bowling that was difficult to handle by any batsmen. At one time Saeed Ajmal was ICC number one ranked bowler in all three formats T/20, 50 overs and test cricket.
It was superb weekend for the DCA and community. So many appreciation messages received on different WhatsApp groups, some I have appended at the end of this email.
